Kim Bryant, HR director

“My staffing firm is the best place to work because of its interest in employees, work/life balance and community.”

Allowing employees to pursue their dreams, a work/life balance and taking part in the community. These are just some aspects of iMethods culture that make it a great place to work, according to Kim Bryant, HR director.

“We have a few programs that really promote loyalty,” says Bryant, who has been with the company for seven-and-a-half years. “Not just the employees’ loyalty to us, but the company’s loyalty to the employee.”

One example is iMethods’ “dream manager program” where individual meet one-on-one with a leader to share their dreams — professional, personal or financial — and how those dreams can be achieved. The company also has a core values program where employees nominate fellow employees whenever they see someone demonstrate a core value. The nominated employee can then spin a prize wheel.

IMethods also provides for a work-life balance and flexible schedules when necessary for employees, she says.

Also, the company works to take part in the community, helping charities. IMethods takes part in the annual “Wolfson’s Children’s Challenge” marathon to help Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla. The company recently got involves with the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation, which helps underprivileged children from broken homes.

The company also adopts families in need during the holiday a season, and it has a committee to decide which charitable activities in which to take part.

“We try to give back to our community as much as possible,” Bryant says.
